Recollect – The New CBHS Digital Archive

The School is in the process of developing an online digital archive.  The ‘Recollect’ website will enable the vast range of historical documents and images of the school, its students and staff, to be collected in one place and will make the information available to the worldwide CBHS community.

Initially the site will be available to view the information, but in the future, it is intended that it will be expanded to enable the community to update and record their own information, as well as name the thousands of unnamed images held at school.  We hope they have the site live by the end of 2021.  It will initially include all school magazines as well as some other publications and a set of images, including a digital walk though of the Main Block which is currently closed for renovation.

There is a significant cost to the set up and maintenance of the site.  The setup has been largely funded through Lottery Heritage Grants as well as from school funds, but in order to continue the site we do need the community to get behind it and assist with the ongoing annual updating and maintenance costs.  The donations made to the 60+ lunch in 2021 have been put towards this project and we thank all who contributed.
