Te Kura Golf Tournament 2022

The annual golf tournament was again played in November. This year 64 Old Boys participated, and it was pleasing to see over 20 new faces as well as the regular attendees.

The Waitikiri course was in excellent condition, but showers sweeping across the
course throughout the afternoon added an extra challenge to the event.

Due to the excellent support of our sponsors a bottle of water, a snack bar and
golf ball was provided to players beforehand and a platter of food was provided to
each group at the conclusion of the round. 

All players went home with a prize and the day was enjoyed by all even though the weather wasn’t the best.

Recollect – The New CBHS Digital Archive

The School is in the process of developing an online digital archive.  The ‘Recollect’ website will enable the vast range of historical documents and images of the school, its students and staff, to be collected in one place and will make the information available to the worldwide CBHS community. Initially the site will be available to view the information, but in the future, it is intended that it will be expanded to enable the community to update and record their own information, as well as name the thousands of unnamed images held at school.  We hope they have the site live by the end of 2021.  It will initially include all school magazines as well as some other publications and a set of images, including a digital walk though of the Main Block which is currently closed for renovation.
