Te Kura Golf Tournament 2021

 

The annual Te Kura Golf Tournament was again played in November. This year 63 participated and it was good to see new faces as well as the regular attendees.

The Waitikiri course was in excellent condition, but the wind added an extra challenge to the afternoon.

Due to the excellent support of our sponsors a platter of food was provided to each group at the conclusion of the round, all players went home with a prize and the day was enjoyed by all.

A thank-you to the Wellington branch of the association who donated the Auld Tekurians Trophy to the Christchurch branch this year as they no longer hold an annual golf tournament.

A big thank-you goes to our sponsors, many who have been supporting us for several years. Without their support we wouldn’t have been able to provide a prize for every player.

We hope this tournament will continue to prosper with an influx of new players required each year.

The date for next year’s tournament is under review and will be advertised in future newsletters.
